She sits quietly staring into the distance
Her mind can no longer pick up her feet and run
She takes a shallow breath then laughs...
Why don't you giggle too? She asks
Can't you hear me?
Can't you feel me tugging the hem of your shirt tail ?
Can't you feel my hand in yours?
Can't you feel my heartbeat in time to the thoughts in your head?
Can't you hear the promises I had with your soul?
Will you sit for a while and listen to my story? I will whisper in your ear
Can't you hear me?
A shiver on the breeze... Has she really gone?
