Emotional vulnerability is *******
He repeats in a whisper
A whisper that's more a thought than a verbal acknowledgment.

He was done.
He was spent.
He hadn't come in months.
And he didn't want to.

So what was there to do?
Express emotional vulnerability to an extent that left him more raw
than fresh hide.

Forget it.
"I suppose that's easier,"
he mused.

So he moved forward,
and shows no signs of stopping.
