Struggles grow really loud
This is what justice has allowed
March on my children and don’t give into defeat
It’s time to move your secrete unquestioned feet
Justice is only won when one stands strong with effort
Washington knows
The civil rights movement was the reality show
March on my children
A work that dr. martin luther king started, but wasn’t able to complete
It’s time to move on in the continued struggle of incomplete
Justice is an ongoing battle and its victory that we seek
We can’t reverse and have a constant repeat
We must bond together as a nation and form a retreat
What matters most is that our voices be felt from coast to coast
We are the world and we shall be heard
Our lips are our uttering words
We have been silent far too long
It’s our footsteps in knowing where they belong
The very steps from the beginning dr. king’s legacy
But it doesn’t stop there
It’s our mission in how we will preserver
Dr. king laid down the floor plan
We are the people that are in demand
It doesn’t matter of race nor color
It’s dr. king who deserves all the honor
It’s time for Washington and the world to wake up
We must all face Washington together being close up
The movement is not done
It won’t be until we have won.
