Despair
Maybe I should have forgiven you
when you lost all hope in me,
maybe you should have forgiven me
when I thought I was alone in this
The night just began and yet,
the stars are dimming with every beat of the heart.
We have lost our certainty of this world.
our emotions has become our reputation,
together we are not,
and yet alone we are also not..
The heavens have fallen under the sun,
and yet there is nothing new under the sun.
Before I lose it,
there is something I must confess about friendship.
Can you forgive me, you asked..
yes I can, but,
our century has began to despair..
