knowledge
when i first met you
i knew we would be written in ink.
that youd leave me breathless
and id lead you to water.
I knew i could never make you drink
i knew we would end each other
and our endings, they would play
over and over in my head
I knew youd pull me open
but i still jumped in.
and tearing bits of you out of me
is much harder than youd ever think.
