Poems
Dec 2015
Her Eyes Were Projectors 12/22/15
The screen lights up
Pupils dilate
Increase in heart rate
Fixation on old memories
Breath quickens
Loss of common sense
Instant regret of feelings
Useless romance
Lose sense of balance
Selfishness and inconsideration
Cling to fiction
Refuse to question
Attempt an apology
Voice cracks
Sincerity lacks
Imagination floods my thoughts
Everything you have read
Might be in my head
Please let it stay there
Recently reunited with an old...friend maybe... a couple of days ago. This is me trying to be simple with my thoughts since then.
