By: Cedric McClester

He began
The conversation
That’s reverberated
Throughout the nation
You see his mouth
Is never vacant
Maybe we’ll
Have to be patient

Hear him
As he rants and shouts
Let’s keep
Mexicans and Muslims out
Because he hasn’t
Any doubt
They’re what terror’s
All about

But what he seems
To have blown
We have terror
That’s homegrown
Which is something
He should have known
As our history
Has clearly shown

But blame it
On the other guy
Then invent a reason why
Logic has to
Up and die
While he invents
Another lie
To give himself
An alibi
