It fell away
Guess I did the same
A house of broken pipes
Somehow set aflame
Made what no one knows
Irregular and grey
As I slide into dark belts
They lean towards the day
Heavily scarred, cravenly armed
Substituted by snake charmer’s son
Such a lasting fever on
Ice, rocks and methane
Guess I got a freezer burn
Can’t come out and play
Death is going out of style
Its permanence a haze
By the never-setting moon
The craters wait and pray
Heavily scarred, cravenly armed
Sits the ice dwarf with a core of sun
New Horizons coming on
Like a wood-chip piano
Hope it finds something on me
Besides ivory, lamp or vine
Cause this double planet
Has got the third zone blues
Hanging lonely like a
Disco ball of golden hues
Heavily scarred, cravenly armed
Bound to leave this perfect circle, cloud and crumb
