The Bible says
“Thou shall not ****.”
But apparently
We’re doing it still
Judging by all
The blood we spill
And often times
Just for the thrill

While advocating
Pure insanity
Some like to claim
Their Christianity
I don’t know
Maybe it’s only me
Who’s recognizing
What’s there to see

While gun violence adds
To the nation’s blight
We’re arguing
A Second Amendment right
Though the populous
Can’t sleep at night
We can’t distinguish
Wrong from right

Some don’t like
What I preach
And I’m accused
Of overreach
But I’m entitled
To free speech
Even though you may not
Like what I teach
