Lonely eyes stare into the rain,
Confused and withdrawn.
Suffering from unloved pain.
Hurtful words still screaming in his mind,
A love in a woman that he will never find.
You can smell the smoke that lingers behind from a cigarette on his lips and a kiss he will miss,
But cherish forever.
He can feel the emptiness in the pit of his stomach grow like wild fire,
From loving someone so much for so long.
If sadness was the sea
I'd drown in it,
Because she will never love me
as much as I'd love her.
