Nov 2015
I wear a dress of crimson silk
past the meadow from which I see
a man and woman laughing happily
reaching out with my hands of thorns
for a time to love and a time to burn
ignorant of the lessons they are to learn
nothing left to lose, but hope
as he picks me up in a wish
for the girl and the chance of a kiss
