The Whpping Boy
He was a very naughty prince of the realm
he had himself a whipping boy
his boy was a very sturdy fellow
who could take a stern willow
When the prince needed a thrashing
he always would take his place
fifty of the best at a steady pace
he could take a right old rollicking
Many a dark day did that poor whipping boy see
he would cringe and shake every time he saw a willow tree
the prince would go out of his way
to make sure he was punished nearly every day
The whipping boy lived the life of a prince in pain
with the honour of being beaten again and again
the spanking in his ears would ring
knowing he was doing this for his future king
