Nov 2015
you are my sisters best friend
I can see clearly the first time
I saw you.
You were sleeping over
couch surfing at our house.
My heart stood still
I had the overwhelming urge
to lie next to you.
Not to *******.
Like on TV dramas
Or to have *** in any way.
I just wanted to fold you
in my arms.
Safe and gentle
For you to feel what
Was happening in my heart.
Just youth and innocence.
But you were beautiful.
And I was nerdy awkward.
You were full of fascination
I was boring and dull.
Even then I knew
You were beyond me.
So I went to my room
Sat on my bed
and wept like a child.
Wiping tears from my eyes.
I knew that if my tears
were raindrops.
They were falling
into the ocean
that was you.
