Its darkest navy
seas onward bore
relentless as undercut
cliffs near the shore

not yet halted
as swarms up a beach
across bold sash
a deep golden crease

easy band of waves
reveals a carpet bare
vista though bold
in death and despair

being a combination
of life and movement
mix the colour which
is most verdant

green
