That glorify Poetry

(  &---- of course --- the Poet ! )

AND YET

( & here        the Irony ! )

That when we read a poem from

A poet - girl

Trying to " reveal "
Herself

To a boy

We NEVER read of her

Showing him her poetry

But only get subtle glimpses

Of her

Showing him

Her       ****** !

Now

some may say that

The        ******

Is a work of Art

( & on this I would agree )

BUT

I do believe the credit

Should be given

To.    God

&

NOT

the girl !

Then

After the utter betrayal

Of her own words

We find the girl

( at the end )

Lying in tears on her ****** sheets
