My wings cannot fly to the heavens. My soul is not welcome in the ancient halls of worship. I dared to question the way of things and to defy the order of my place. I sought to rise above the status assigned to me. I dared to question all that I knew. Now I am outcast from my home and disowned by a people. Divinity shall be denied me and I shall not follow my fathers into the hereafter. I will now be forced to venture into a place that I know not. To learn new things not taught me in my youth. Only with a staff and my wits do I go into a savage land. Under the burning sun I am compelled onwards, to something I do not know. The only thing assured is that I am an outcast in search of a purpose with an empty soul that seeks to be filled with truth.
