Your back arched against my nose
The softness of you melting into my bones
I'm sure you're alright, I'm sure all is well

I wish you could tell me where you go at night
The morning light would be much more sweet
Without the worry and curiosity
Of your whereabouts and moral ambiguities

You and your bones are stretched across my bed
My black cat in the afternoon
Careless, magnificent loon
I could have sworn
Rose
