An internal flood has awoken in me.
My heart cries out in gasps of pain.
But all these signs you refuse to see.
Cause for you there is no mutual gain.

I'm down, I'm hurt, I'm being devoured.
I've let my feelings take control of my heart.
But you just think that I am a coward.
And let me fall, part by part.

The tears flow down my face like rain in a flood.
My heart is as empty as the bottle after last call.
But my heart will continue pumping blood.
And this will not be the day I fall.
