Good Life
As age comes to me daily
just like it does for us all,
I consider my life
and what does it mean.
It can mean many things,
as I imagine what would
have been and what has been,
which means nothing in the big scheme of things.
Regrets you can have,
but nothing will change,
other than dragging a chain,
that gets heavy with age.
So the past is just that
and I will remember it
for what it was
and not what it might have been.
The here and now is
a happy place
with love of life
and of fellow man.
A smile each day,
good love in my life,
with a hug good night,
and we sleep.
Good Night!!
