As pearls flowed down his eyes,
She found herself clinged onto him.
The bright day was cloaked with dark skies,
And the scorching sun turned dim.

He uttered with a trembling voice,
"I'll be waiting till the end".
But she had made her wrong choice,
Which was like iron that wouldn't bend.

Under the thundering rain,
They bid each other goodbye.
He was all drenched in pain,
And she asked him not to cry.

As she walked out the door,
His tears turned him blind.
His heart desired her more,
Than he dreamed in his mind.
