I come from the clear blue water
The false waves slapping the sides
Ever quiet stillness from underneath
Surrounded by sinking ships and colorful torpedoes
The shadows of dogs over my head
Screams of happiness
Ripples of entering children
Hollow pounding on shallow steps
Chest aches of longing
In my dangerously peaceful sanctuary
Just a moment longer
To feel the crisp clean summer air
The smell of the wind and grass
Then it comes, the beating of drums only I can hear
Quickened by burning desire
I reached the breaking point
And burst from the black
