Just Ask the Birds

Two birds fly today, Each in opposite directions. The first flies north To see what he can see. The second, a little different, Wants to see the sea. Had it not been for the weather That placed them in that tree, Never would they have met, and Never would they be complete. A dear friend once said, "Child, if you look real close you'll see, The birds in flight. And Though they're parting ways today, They know they'll soon be back, you see." Now, I say the same to you, my friend, Again one day we will meet.
