Not In History's Pages
I look out my window
Sights of night life and glimmering lights…..
My mind starts to dream of oceans and a shadow.
Of the one who ventures quietly, still.
She is empowered by those who fill her with bright strength
by signals projected through their strong wills….
For her to stay strong.
Don’t back down.
She never thinks of such.. Despair never handed her it’s
thorny crown.
Through hard times and a broken back
Success is the outcome
Of the one who shares our messages
In music and in the artistic words
of voices that need to be heard
Since strength comes to those who empowers these messages.
In believing in the one who broke out in song, dance, acts of plenty.
Life is sort of a stage
Where one earns their right to be viewed as an award
to honor those she speaks for to shine the light to
those lost to and never shared in the book of history’s
pages.
