Sep 2015
little black dot lying on the counter,
playing dead.

you can’t fool me,
i saw you moving around.

i’m  still feeling guilty for
killing your family,
and all your good fine friends.

did you happen to see
the one i took outside?
the one i set free?

averting my eye,
i’ll leave you alone little guy,
wander away.

now you stay out of the kitchen.
so i can stop *******’.
see 'modern suburban morning' for first ants demise, which prompted this piece.
