Windows open, no curtains or blinds
midnight ,
a half moon wanes
darkness seeping through the glass panes
nudges me, I behold
a beauty: this Night,
she looks at me
starlit eyes, gowned within Milky Way
Venus sparkling on her crown,
infinite sky
echoing its flute
serenades her,
but she chooses me
takes me in her arms
kisses my eyes,
we fall asleep
together in peace.

We don't want Dawn to come.
Let us be, Night and me.
