A lot of people feel that if they drag themselves around the world and see the monuments everyone keeps telling them they should see, then they will be cultured, understanding, and perhaps even find some sort of new self. What they tend to forget is that you could see the world ten times over but if you didn't change your mindset before the journey then you'll just be the same you in a prettier place.
