With the fields of flowers swept by warm southern breezes, the pixies come to life. They twirl and jump from blossom to blossom spreading their magic as they draw nectar from each bloom. Jumping high into the sun in colors of every shade, they spread their wings and glisten like diamonds. For a few brief moments they dazzle nature, putting all other things to shame with their grace and colorful displays. From mid-day until the final rays of the sun, they prance and play. Then as the south wind fades and night falls, they fade as distant shadows and become one with the landscape again. Until once more they are enticed forth from their hiding places, by a brisk southern wind and the warmth of a golden sun.
