Passwords to the heart
Jude Kyrie

*I love you honey
I say four small words
Simple and sweet.
As a child may say them
when it falls asleep.
Yet when softly spoken
to you in the moonlight.
The dragon that guards
The portcullis to the fortress.
that is your hearts defense’s.
Lays peaceful and silent.
I walk past him without harm.
The rusted iron gates creak open
As you welcome me once again
inside your heart.
