Why blame Eve for eating the fruit?
We all have our temptations that is the truth
Everyone's is different and appeals to their own interests
It only takes one bite to lead to pain and sickness
Each one has its own color and shape
Distracts its victim from what's truly at stake
Hanging from the tree in all of its glory
One wrong choice can change the whole story
Smells so good you can almost taste it
It's to the point where you can no longer face it
Without bringing it up to your lips
All the warnings so easily dismissed
Please...Take a moment and think
It's your soul your deciding to throw away or keep
One moment of satisfaction is not worth it
There is more to that fruit under the surface
Believe my word; don't try to find out
And take a bite out of doubt
