I might wake when the clock hits the morning,
But I am not alive.
For the following hours of afternoon I drift,
Hours passing by.
Listless daydreams replace my hours of sunlight,
The dust settles.
When the clock strikes late and the sun sets,
it's time to test my mettle.
I can't think productively until late afternoon/evening. I am not a morning person by a long shot.
