A crescent moon harbours lost light
A pail shallow reflection of the days fire
Luminous enough to cast lurking shadows
Dark enough to swallow evils desire

Stealing through the craters
Sinister entities crawl
Stealing through your window
Floating down the hall

Filling you with darkness
Dripping from crescent skies
Sinister the evil
Now glazed over your eyes

You awaken feeling torn
Blood stains knife and bed
Horror dashes voice and eyes
As your wife now lays there dead

Terrified bewilderment
As demon dreams flood back
Nightmares of a blood red sickle
From craters dark and black
