Searching for strength, in disbelief.
An endless dilemma,
which keeps me on my feet.
Changing circumstances,
Leave both our hearts, and minds guessing.

One spark, creates a burning ember,
however forgetting to flame.
And a second, where flames skewer any, but I.
I could head into this fire, and come out uncharred.
A decision waits to be made.
The flame-less heat, lingering in shadows,
or a fire that will never burn me.

The wind, as a fires emotion.
It can feed the flame, and take it away
Give the fire a chance to take on its own course.

In this scenario, I am the wind.
I fed the spark, brought this flame to life,
and when faced with more cold,
another spark, took light.
Now one I must try to extinguish,
without letting surroundings become ablaze,
keeping the fire calm, while that which brought it to life,
Tries to bring upon its death.

A fire under control, is nothing to fear.
But a blaze out of hand, I don't want to be near.
