John The Painter
John the painter
Stopped by today
A delightful asian man
I would say
He told me about a hike
He had just been on
I told him about Mt. Baldy
I hope he enjoys it there
He offered his hand
And I shook hands
With him
Try to Remember
Remember your fellow man
I do
They are mostly all
Just like you
Just trying to live
A good moral life
And make it through
And I try to show love
To people I meet
Whether in the marketplace
Or on the street
God bless you John my friend
Enjoy the mountains, as I do
