A cage of words
Trapped like an animal
In a cage of words
With barbs wrapped
Around my mind and soul
The barbs dig deceitfully
As I try to defend myself
They slice with deviance and claw
At my heart as tears bleed out
After severing my heart
The barbed words encompass
A corrosive attack on my nerves
And assault my state of mind
un be knowing to the villain
its barbed words mutate
leaving the unsuspecting villain
open to an attack from its own creation
