I thought of you
As a forest
Or as the sea
You became waves crashing
And leaves falling down on me
I grew silent
Not knowing how I could make it be
But when I stepped back
I realized
I was still so far way from me
The things I wanted
Were black blue and grey
And as I awaited for it to appear
I knew one day it would be you I would see
But until the tide returns
And the forest is no longer a barren tree
What had become winter in my heart
Will on that day remind us of what we could be
