you've left me clumsy
   and unaware
of appreciative eyes
that follow me
watching my every move
stopping abruptly
when i cast an evil look
their way

it's foreign to me
     this wanting
           needing
attraction
others feel
i don't know how
to take it
i can't imagine
using it
to my advantage

yes, you've left me numb
     bewildered
          and incapable
