Jul 2015
Tonight it hit me hard,
I remember you staring at me,
In the garden,
The grass greener than ever,
Your coat,
Your paw,
Your eyes so lovely brown.

Here's to the best friend I had,
The one I come home to,
A great companion,
A just listener,
The one that cheers me up when I'm hurt.

You're gone,
And you're never coming back,
This I know,
But some part of you will always be with me,
I'll like to believe you're in heaven,
Like all dogs, Osty only saw the good in people.
Dogs are like that.
People should take a lesson.
RIP
I love you always.
