My lovely daughter Emily
is fighting for her life.
She may not be aware of it
beneath the surgeonโ€™s knife,
admitting of a doubt
for her is never rife.

I wish I might have half as much
courage in my own
meagre confrontations with
the symptoms that Iโ€™ve grown
accustomed to and which
are vastly overblown.
I had to get this down on paper in order to handle the over-pressing concerns that I'm trying to deal with.  Your prayers and good wishes for Emily's recovery from the SCT procedure conducted today are besought.
