Oh, my lovely Angel
how you are the rock
of my life.
Oh, how the beauty
of your soul
and your lovely form
inflames my deepest longing.
Oh, how my heart calls out to you
as a child for its mother.
Oh, how the longing of my heart
fills the fibers of my soul.
Oh, I can never forget you!
Your lovely image
and your lovely name
I have engraved
upon my heart
and at the very center of my soul.
Oh, if I forget you
let me forget my right arm!
Oh, how the stars
as they hang in the night sky sing of you.
Oh, my lovely Spanish Angel dark and mysterious
how you ever haunt my mind
and I long to embrace you forever
in a love that will never end.
Oh, how your lovely fingers
hold my heart in the palm of your hand
and a music fills my heart
that speaks to me of your lovely face and form
and I will love you
till the sun runs his last course
through the burning blue sky
and time is no more.
