We’ve never been called normal,
Always a different breed,
Before we met we stood alone,
Oblivious to our need.

We’ve always been quite different,
Never a textbook case,
Before we knew what we’d become,
Or all that we would face.

We’re never sure of what will be,
Always just scraping by,
Although we know we’ll make it through,
Together- you and I.

We’re always hoping for the best,
Never ones for giving in,
Although we fight for all we have,
We know that we’ll still win.

We’ll never be celebrities,
Always lost in the crowds,
But we stand firm in who we are,
Our heads not in the clouds.

We’ll always be as we are now,
United hand and heart,
But we grow stronger every day,
And never shall we part.
