Said you needed a way home;
Seemed innocent enough,
Because this Isn't high school
And I didn't care that much.
Obvious you were trying to slay
And I'll play your game for now;
Although that's never happened,
I have previously heard the sound
Of someone who would rather hide
Than be honest about what they
Wanted.
Its better to be true, I think
Than always being haunted
By regrets of how It could of gone,
Maybe I should have said "no"
But inside, I sort of felt like
This is just how some things roll.
I can keep a secret better
Than anyone I know,
So I hope your lips stay sealed
And that you'll let it go.
If I happen to be out
On some binge around the town
And someone drops your name,
I'll ******* **** you.
