I was laying face down in the sand
sea water laps at my feet
slowly I lift my head
good god I feel half dead
there by the side of me is Eddies cage
without him inside

I stagger to my water drenched feet
not feeling a hundred percent complete
my bands in pieces washed out to sea
and I wonder where my hamster could be
so I walk along the beach
following the footsteps of his little feet

Then I spy him
he's made a hut
with two goats and three chickens
well I was blown
and did not want to be alone
so I became his man Friday
