At first your heart burns
It hurts like crazy
You cry
Your pillow is a witness to that
A week goes by
A month
And then a year
It's never ...never..easy
But gradually you learn to live with it...
....the painful realization that you're all alone
....save for you cat
And of course Almighty
You pick up the groceries
You prepare your meal
You sit at home and write stuff
Play with your cat
Watch T.V.
Say a little prayer
and then go to bed....
..this keeps going on...
And then you finally meet someone again
..and life is back to what it was...
Date nights...
Late nights...
And so on and so forth...
As if nothing had ever happened...
Your life is now resurrected
