Almost a Minute Year

A bad day can catch you by surprise as

You wade through the sticky air of a slow day

Today I woke to a message that my flight would

Be almost a minute year late as AA922 arrived

In La Paz three hundred and sixty four minutes

Behind schedule and my day became endless

Slow seconds as time seemed to stop.
