Because of Memory

I didn’t want to wake from those nightmares

Because you were there

Because of your unconditional love

Because of something I could not make up

I feel you even if you’re translucent and grey

Because your soul is heavy

And this memory I will not bury

Won’t you give me something physical to carry?
