Oh LOVE!
Hush us LOVERS to sleep

With your touch
of peacock feathers
Caress our hearts

Cleanse the rust
of knowledge and learning
And seep into our veins
Inside our blood

Peel off the pelt
of ignorance
Skin off the beast
of success & wealth

Refine our innate
humanity
our inborn virtues of
compassion, care and LOVE

When we are humiliated
insulted, disgraced
by the world
And we fear to show our face
To the world
Before we harden our heart
to fall in love again
soften us...

And when we soften
And fall in LOVE forever
congeal us

Our heart without each other
is a graveyard
Our blood without each other
is a drought struck river

But Pardon me LOVE
Our heart, and our blood
too carry YOU - LOVE
in our death too
You are present

O LOVE!
Hush us LOVERS to sleep
