Celebrities are the new deities
we have more than the Hindus
that we watch through the windows
of our TVs
is this what we aspire to be?
- plastic dolls
that someone else controls?
for they have their own gods
- money rules
there will be no more floods
to wash away these fools.

Instead look through the other window
and watch the rainbow
that everlasting promise
from the real King
for if we are distracted by fake things
we forget it's his praises we should sing
his song doesn't reside in pop charts
but should remain number one in our hearts
so stop being swayed by reality stars
fake fame and fast cars
and look to the sky for the one that lasts.
