~

Lost at the edge of a long day,
far beyond the horizon’s glare,
coated in dreamsicle drippings
as a tangerine sky bids farewell

I melt into a burnt orange landscape
quivering across a haze brush field,
when mirage sent whispers appear
on tepid winds' echoing affections

Shielding my eyes I see,
dark bourbon hair flowing in the breeze,
a shimmering smile that blinds the setting sun,
as a distant shadow becomes love

Dusk now blushes at the sight of two figures
silhouetted upon a grinning full moon
embracing the passion of the night
*glowing in the dawning of twilight’s desire
Good night beautiful
