When it was us
You didn’t give a ****
Your only concern
Was how to save a buck
Now it you
That floods came to
And there no limit
To what you want us to do

When we were begging
Hat in hand
We couldn’t make you
Understand
Now you’re asking us to do
What you refused
Although you knew
All that we were going through

But what goes around
Comes back around
You never know
Where it's bound
As you’ve discovered
And we can see
You’re in need of our charity
But where's your reciprocity

You’re not conservative
Through and through
Though you’d like us to believe
That's true
You want us to do for you
What you yourself wouldn’t do
So it’s not a matter of what with you
It’s strictly a matter of who

You Didn't Give A **** was inspired by first time Senator Ted Cruz who turned a cold shoulder to those in need during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.  Now he's seeking our largesse now that Texas has been hit bad by floods.  Isn't it ironic?
