Happiness is rooted in misery
Misery sits beneath happiness

Why does everyone like the Tao so much?
Isn't it because you find what you seek
And you are forgiven when you sin?

The more he does for others, the more he has
The tao of the sage is work without effort

My Interpretation

Misery is rooted in happiness
Being content-- not striving
Not seeking fulfillment
Forget the self

Just show others love
The Tao nourishes all things

Because all people seek love
And forgiveness
Effortless action
Work without effort

Truly, this is the way of heaven
